Il
Consiglio Generale prende decisioni sulla Domus, la Regola del
Terz’Ordine, la Progettazione Futura
Il Consiglio Generale si è incontrato in Curia a Roma dal 7 al 17 ottobre 2003. Sono state esaminate le relazioni di un certo numero di visite alle Province come anche i Capitoli Provinciali tenuti dall’ultima sessione plenaria. Inoltre si è rivisto il piano generale dell’ultimo Consiglio delle Province. Il messaggio finale è stato approvato e sarà stampato dalle Edizioni Carmelitane come libretto con la documentazione dell’incontro. A lungo si è riflettuto sulle decisioni del Consiglio delle Province circa la Domus Carmelitana a Roma, le raccomandazioni dell’ultima completa valutazione professionale del funzionamento e dei membri del Comitato che sarà costituito per stabilire le strategie e visionare il funzionamento. Sono state approvate le traduzioni in lingua inglese e spagnolo del testo della Regola del Terz’Ordine. Saranno stampate e distribuite dalle Edizioni Carmelitane. Il testo sarà inserito nel sito web del Laicato Carmelitano prima che entri in vigore l’8 dicembre 2003. Coloro che sono inseriti nella mailing list delle Edizioni Carmelitane riceveranno la notificazione per e-mail sia sulla disponibilità che sui costi. Molti eventi dei prossimi anni proposti a suo tempo sono stati discussi in questa sessione plenaria, incluso l’incontro dei Superiori Generali delle Congregazioni e Istituti affiliati, le celebrazioni del 400° anniversario della morte di S. Maria Maddalena de’ Pazzi, l’800° anniversario della Regola Carmelitana, il Congresso sul Carisma Carmelitano e la Parrocchia Carmelitana, il Congresso sul Carisma Carmelitano e la Liturgia. L’incontro
del 10 ottobre è stato la centesima seduta formale del
Consiglio dalle elezioni del Capitolo Generale 2001.

El Consejo General se reunió del 7 – 17 de octubre de 2003 en la Curia en Roma. Un encuentro final tuvo lugar el 23 de octubre. Los informes fueron revisados a partir de varis de las visitas a las Provincias y también de los Capítulos Provinciales que se han celebrado desde la última sesión plenaria. Hubo también un análisis de la reacción a partir del Consejo de las Provincias recientemente celebrado. El mensaje final fue aprobado y será editado por Edizioni Carmelitane en un pequeño libro junto con otra documentación del encuentro. Se usó una gran parte del encuentro en revisar las decisiones del Consejo de las Provincias con respecto a la Domus Carmelitana en Roma, las recomendaciones de la reciente evaluación completa profesional de la operación y los miembros del Comité que será creado para establecer policías y para supervisar la operación. Se aprobaron las traducciones inglesa y española del texto de la Regla de la Tercera Orden y serán editadas y puestas a la venta por Edizioni Carmelitane. Los textos aparecerán en la página web de los Laicos Carmelitas antes de que entren en vigor el 8 de diciembre de 2003. Aquellos que están en la lista de direcciones de Edizioni Carmelitane serán informados por correo electrónico sobre los pedidos y el coste del libro. Durante esta sesión plenaria se ha tratado sobre muchos de los acontecimientos futuros que han sido propuestos. Entre éstos están un encuentro de los Superiores Generales de las Congregaciones e Institutos Afiliados y las celebraciones del 400 º aniversario de la muerte de Sta. Magdalena de Pazzis, el 800 º aniversario de la Regla Carmelita, el Congreso sobre el carisma Carmelita y la parroquia Carmelita y el Congreso sobre el carisma y liturgia Carmelitas. General Council Makes Decisions About Domus
Carmelitana, Third Order Rule, Future Planning
The General Council met at the Curia in Rome from October 7 – 17, 2003. A final meeting was held on October 23. Reports were reviewed from a number of visits to the Provinces as well as Provincial Chapters that have been held since the last plenary session. There was also a review of the feedback from the recently concluded Council of Provinces. The final message was approved and will be printed by the Edizioni Carmelitane in a small book along with some other documentation from the meeting. A significant portion of the meeting was spent reviewing the decisions of the Council of Provinces regarding the Domus Carmelitana in Rome, the recommendations of the recently complete professional evaluation of the operation, and the membership of the Board which will be created to establish policies and to supervise the operation. The English and Spanish translations of the text of the Third Order Rule was approved and will be printed and sold by the Edizioni Carmelitane. The text will be posted on the Lay Carmelite website before it comes into effect on December 8, 2003. Those on the Edizioni Carmelitane mailing list will be notified by email about availability and cost. Many of the future events that have been proposed were also discussed during this plenary session. These include a meeting of the Superiors General of the Affiliated Congregations and Institutes and the celebrations of the 400th Anniversary of the Death of St. Mary Magdelene de Pazzi, the 800th Anniversary of the Carmelite Rule, the Congress on the Carmelite Charism and the Carmelite Parish, and the Congress on the Carmelite Charism and Liturgy. Appointments made by the General Council during the Fall meetings will be announced in future issues of CITOC-online as they become finalized. The meeting on October 10th was the 100th formal sitting of the Council since its election at the 2001 General Chapter.
