ACCOMMODATIONS:

NB  Your room reservation at Casa Beato Nuno in Fatima only covers the days of the course. If you are arriving before or you need to stay extra days, please let us know. You will be charged for the extra days as they are not included in the fee.

The course will take place at the Casa Beato Nuno, a Carmelite residence for pilgrims to the Shrine of Fatima.

Casa Beato Nuno was established by then Prior General Kilian Lynch at the suggestion of Sr. Lucia, one of the three children at the Fatima appearances of Our Lady.

At their meeting in 1950, Sr. Lucia asked Fr. Lynch if the Carmelites could build something to revive the devotion of the Portuguese people to Our Lady Mount Carmel.

The house is designed to accommodate retreats and other religious gatherings. The building includes a large chapel and several gathering areas in addition to 135 sleeping rooms on five floors.

WHAT TO BRING FOR THE COURSE:

During the three first days we will have reports to familiarize ourselves with our globalized world. Every participant, individually, per regions or continents, will be asked to share their own experiences.

We ask that you bring the material you need to do that. These are the questions to be answered:

- How does globalization have an influence on the area where I live?

- What experiences of Justice and Peace from my area do I know that help mitigate the influence of globalization?

Please, do not forget this material, very useful for the first days.

A Bible will be useful as well.

For the liturgy, we can use some hymns, prayers or texts from your country, in your own language. Please, bring some with you.
