Generali riunite a Sassone (Roma)
21 Superiori Generali, o delegate delle medesime, delle Congregazioni e Istituiti affiliati all’Ordine e il Priore Generale, Joseph Chalmers, sono riuniti a Sassone per un incontro (14-19 maggio) dove si discutono i progetti della famiglia carmelitana e argomenti di mutuo interesse.
Padre Carlos Mester, sarà il conduttore del tema: “Le sfide della famiglia carmelitana nel mondo di oggi”.
Vi partecipa anche il P. Johanes Indrakusuma, carmelitano e fondatore delle figlie del Carmelo e dei Carmelitani di Sant’ Elia.
Questo e’ il quarto incontro dal 1989 ad oggi, l’ultimo si e’ tenuto nel 2000.
Encuentro Internacional Superiores Generales
Veintiuno de los superiors generales o sus delegados de las Congregaciones e Institutos afiliados a la Orden están reunidos en la Casa de encuentros Carmelitas en Sassone Roma, Italia.
El encuentro del 14 al 19 de mayo tratará de los distintos proyectos y temas de interés para la Familia Carmelita. Carlos Mesters, Consejero General para América Latina, sera el ponente del tema “Desafíos de la Familia Carmelita hoy”.
Entre los participantes se encuentra el P. Johanes Indrakusuma, fundador de los religiosos y religiosas de S. Elías en Indonesia (conocidos como Putri Karmel).
Ha habido cuatro Encuentros desde 1989, el último en el año 2000.
Superiors of Affiliated Congregations Meet in Sassone Italy Twenty-one of the Superiors General of the Congregations and Institutes affiliated to the Order, their delegates, and the Prior General, Joseph Chalmers, are meeting at the Carmelite Conference Center in Sassone, Italy.
The meeting, which began on May 14, will discuss a number of the projects of the Carmelite Family and topics of mutual interest. Carlos Mesters, General Councilor for Latin America, will lead a discussion on “The Challenges for the Carmelite Family in the World Today.”
Also participating in the meetings is Carmelite Johanes Indrakusuma, founder of the Daughters of Carmel (Putri Carmel) and the Carmelites of St. Elias.
For such meetings have been held since 1989, the last in 2000. This meeting will run through May 19.
