Peruvian Commissariate Assembly Celebrated

The Chapter of the Peruvian Commissariate of the PCM Province was held January 3-6. 2006 at Villa Carmelitas in Lurin, Peru. Elected to serve the Commissariate for the next three years were:

Elective Chapter of the Monastery of Sagrada Corazón de Jesús (CAU)

On February 27, 2006, the elective Chapter of the Monastery of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús and of the Virgen de Gracia was held. Presiding at the election of the prioress was the visitator from the Diocese of Albacete, Fr. Vidal Martínez.

M. Estela Santos Torres was re-elected as prioress.

Elective Chapter of Erlangen, Germany

   The Carmelite nuns of the monastery of Erlangen, Germany, held their triennial elective chapter on March 02, 2006. Christian Körner, Prior Provincial of the Upper Province, presided.

   After the confirmation of the Postulation of the Prioress Sr. Thoma Müller O.Carm by the Prior General and his Council the following were elected:

1st Councilor and Subprioress: Sr. Theresia Kretschmann O. Carm.
2nd Councilor: Sr. Pia Janko O. Carm.
Director of Novices: Sr. Thoma Müller O. Carm.

Elective Chapter of the Carmelite Monastery of Santisima Trinidad in Camaná, Perú

The Carmelite nuns of the monastery of Santisima Trinidad in Camaná, Perú held their elective chapter on March 14, 2006 beginning at 10 AM. President was the General Delegate of the monastery, Mons. Albano Quinn, O. Carm., who had the responsibility to preside at this election for the new triennium.
